SOLUCIONES GLOBALES EN ENERGÍAS ALTERNTIVAS

The Sun will give 70 % of the energy in 2100

The World Energy Council assures in his XXI Energetic Resources Report, published just a few weeks ago, that only 15 % of the world consumption of energy will come from the fossil fuels and the nuclear one in the year 2100.

“ The key elements of the long-term scene are the energy efficiency and the policies that act on the energetic intensity “. According to the twenty-first Energy Resources Report, recently published by the World Council of the Energy (Survey of Energy Resources, SER), “ these policies will transform deeply the sectors of the construction, the industry and the transport “.

The document, which foresees an important increase of the confidence in the renewable sources, thinks that the solar power especially can be one of the keys of future. According to SER, in any case, the transition towards the renewable model already it has begun. This way, the report foresees that in 2100 15 % of the world consumption of energy will come from dirty sources-cabón, oil, gas and uranium – whereas the solar will provide 70 % of the energy.

The report, of 600 pages, checks the statu quo and the ratios of growth of the principal solar technologies, the state of the arts and the maturity of the markets, as well as the governmental policies and the measures of promotion of the integration of the renewables in the energetic world systems.

Of this review, and in what touches the renewables (because all the sources are revised), SER indicates that the wind, which already is experiencing a great growth, will double its capacity every three years and a half, whereas the solar thermal, the solar passive and PV have a great potential. The report indicates that, being based on the current state of the I+D, the cost of the solar thermoelectric kilowatt will approach very soon that of the conventional kilowatt.

The document, which complements the report BP Statistical Review (one classic of the world energy information) and the World Energy Outlook from International Energy Agency, has checked sixteen sources of energy thanks to the last information provided by 94 committees members of the World Council of the Energy.
